Limits

The limit describes the value that a function (or sequence) approaches as the input (or index) approaches some value.

Mathematically, the limit of ( f(x) ) as ( x ) approaches ( c ) is represented as:

\lim_{{x \to c}} f(x) = L

This means that as ( x ) gets closer and closer to ( c ), ( f(x) ) gets closer and closer to ( L ).
